I thank you for the excellent time I had in Pollachi attending the recent National Seminar on Elder Rights. I am moved by the hospitality, warmth and friendliness. The whole event was very well organized in terms of:  sticking to schedule, wholesome food, physical arrangements, transport (special thanks to Sri Ravishankar), choice of contributions, parallel sessions etc.

I liked the Tamil Prayer song:  இறையேஉன்கழல்நான்பணிந்தேன்
especially as it does not refer to any single God / goddess. In the session in which I presented my paper the chairperson did an exceedingly good job. Both theme papers were highly educative and well presented by seasoned orators.

I am also happy to have got an assurance from many quarters that both the local senior citizens Association and the college will do their bit towards observing Senior Citizens National Protest Day.

I wish that you may issue some guidelines for authors in preparation of Powerpoint presentations. Some of the slides were composed of too small fonts and even front liners could see nothing. Another point: The screen may be placed in such a way that  it will be nearer to audience and people in the dais can also see it.

Regards
